All foreign visitors must possess a valid passport.
Some visitors may be required to obtain a visa before departure.

  • Please note that an invitation letter does not guarantee the issuance of a visa to enter Korea.
  • An invitation letter will be issued to those who have completed registration, including complimentary registrations.
  • Once an invitation letter for your visa has been issued, reimbursement of the registration fee will not be possible.
  • For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your visa application, please contact the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Korea in your home country.
  • The SICOM 2025 Secretariat cannot intervene in, appeal, or influence visa approval decisions made by embassies, consulates, or any other government authorities.

Visa

  • Visitors entering the Republic of Korea must hold valid passport for at least 3 months and visa to enter the country.
  • Nationals of visa waiver or visa-free countries may enter the country without visa, but must apply K-ETA before the departure from your country.
  • Nationals of non-visa waiver countries must apply for visa at the nearest Korean embassy or consulate prior to entering the Republic of Korea.

  • Nationals of visa-waived countries and visa-free countries need to apply for a K-ETA.
  • The K-ETA is required for foreign nationals who intend to enter the Republic of Korea for tourism, visiting relatives, participating in events or meetings.
